Our summer is broken up in to three parts - June, "THE GRANDPARENTS", and august. we made the decision to not travel this summer so that we can journey back to Virginia in the Fall to see the leaves, as it's been 11 years since I've seen them.so we have been exploiting all the offerings of SF and the the Bay area. so this page took place back in June. the children and I had planned a day in Golden Gate Park when we got a call from Naomi and Leon. They decided to join our adventure. We took a nice little hike through the woods and played in a field. Eli and Leon flew our little wooden gliders and played with sticks, while Eva, Naomi and I lounged on the grass.
Next we went to the Japanese Tea Garden, walked around the grounds searching for fish ponds, climbing over the bridge and ended by having tea. Eva, hands down, still refers to the cookies we got, the sesame and the almond!
